To ask the Minister for Health to clarify the current policy regarding the acceptance of referrals from private hospitals to the new community care and rehabilitation centre in Nenagh, County Tipperary; whether patients referred from private hospitals, such as Barrington’s Hospital in Limerick, are eligible for admission to the community care and rehabilitation centre in Nenagh; if not, the rationale behind this policy; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
