The property known as the Medical Centre at the Kiln, Cashel was acquired in early July 2023 by the Office of Public Works for the purpose of providing offices and associated welfare facilities for staff working at the Rock of Cashel, National Monument Number 128 in State care.

Planning permission for a material change of use and the refurbishment of the property was received on 15th April 2024. The project is currently at detailed Design stage with the OPW Design team.

The condition of the boundary separating both properties to which the Deputy refers will be fully examined by the OPW Design Team during this stage.
