The majority of staff in the Department of Education are availing of remote working since 2020. The Department of Education’s Blended Working Policy was introduced at the end of 2023 and allows staff members to make applications to work remotely for up to 3 days per week. We are now accepting applications from staff members to formalise their blended working arrangements and to date, approximately 25% of staff members have made formal applications to avail of blended working and this number continues to rise.
In relation to the aegis bodies, a list of the points of contact within the organisations who would be in a position to supply the information requested, is attached.
