I fully appreciate the difficulties experienced by patients suffering from this painful condition. There is no doubt that Epidermolysis Bullosa places a substantial medical, social, and financial burden on patients and carers.

As this question relates to operational matters, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the deputy directly, as soon as possible.
