I move:

That, notwithstanding anything in the Standing Orders relative to Public Business, the Seanad on its rising on Wednesday, 2nd April, 2025, shall adjourn until 9 a.m. on Thursday, 3rd April, 2025, and the following arrangements shall apply:

(a) Statements on International Trade and International Relations.

Statements on International Trade and International Relations shall be taken at 9 a.m. and shall, if not previously concluded, be brought to a conclusion at 10.30 a.m. The opening contribution of the Minister shall not exceed 10 minutes, the contribution of Group Spokespersons shall not exceed 10 minutes, all other Senators shall not exceed 5 minutes, time may be shared, and the Minister shall be given no less than 10 minutes to reply to the debate;

(b) Commencement Matters shall be taken at 10.30 a.m. in accordance with Standing Order 31;

(c) Standing Order 32 shall stand suspended;

(d) No other business shall be taken unless the Seanad shall otherwise order on motion made by the Leader of the House or such other Senator as he may authorise in that behalf in accordance with Standing Order 18;

(e) The Seanad on its rising on Thursday, 3rd April, 2025, shall adjourn until 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday, 8th April, 2025.
