I wish to raise a point of order under Standing Order 54 relating to the adequacy of replies. I wish to raise my concerns about the continued inadequate replies to parliamentary questions from the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth. I have already emailed my concerns about this to the Ceann Comhairle's office. A number of questions put to the Minister have not been adequately answered. I have sought the specific information from the Minister via parliamentary questions to have details placed on the record of the House. However, the response received advised me a response would be issued in coming days and my questions were put to the community engagement team. This is not an adequate reply. In what format will the response be issued? Will it be put on the record of this House? It is my right as an elected representative to place parliamentary questions and to have the responses put on the record of the House, particularly when they relate to expenditure of State funds and decisions relating to my constituency. I do not think that these responses are adequate and I am asking the Ceann Comhairle to instruct the Minister to respond to all parliamentary questions in full to ensure full transparency and accountability.

I thank the Deputy. That is noted and I will raise it with the Ceann Comhairle, who, I am sure, will raise it with the Minister in turn. It is noted under Standing Order 54.
