I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to debate the need for the Minister for Social and Family Affairs to respond to the case made by the Family Resource Centre National Forum on the need to ensure that the proposed cuts to the programme are withdrawn in order to allow the many family resource centres around the country to continue to provide a much-needed and valuable service for the many families who are experiencing difficulties of various kinds, many of them related to unemployment and low income.
