Can I suggest an attempt on the part of GPs to capture that information? If we want to allay concerns about this we must get to the bottom of it. We have many other issues to deal with within and without the Joint Committee on Health. We want to find out how many people in the country have Lyme disease and how many people are being treated. Unless we have the information it cannot be dismissed as just a few people. I would suggest that we need that information. A request to the GPs to do what needs to be done would be a useful outcome of today's meeting.
The witnesses say that women are being misdiagnosed with Lyme disease. Who is misdiagnosing them?
