The Iveagh Gardens are located in Dublin city centre with close access to a large variety of cafés and shops available to visitors near all entryways and within a short walking distance of the park to avail of refreshments. In addition, Dublin City Council has provided a coffee dock concession at the Clonmel Street entrance which is the busiest entrance to the Iveagh Gardens.

Given the wide range of options available to visitors, the OPW does not intend to tender for the provision of a mobile coffee light snack dock at the Iveagh Gardens.

A competition for the role of Chef had been advertised in Q1 2024, a panel is now currently in place, at present there is no requirement to run another chef competition before the end of 2024.
