To ask the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the amount allocated under the sports capital and equipment programme 2020 that has yet to be claimed for Cork county; the amount that has been drawn down for Cork county; the amount allocated to Cork county; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Allocations under the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme 2020 round were made in 2021 and 2022. The total amount allocated for County Cork was €18,344,840. €11,456,578 has been paid to date and €6,888,262 has yet to be drawn down. Grantees are encouraged to take steps to finalise their grants as failure to progress projects could ultimately lead to the withdrawal of grant allocations.
