Question 567: To ask the Minister for Health if he would consider organising a national stillbirth remembrance day similar to that organised in Canada and the United States. [33376/11]

It is my understanding that Remembrance days such as that proposed by the Deputy, are often organised by non governmental bodies. Stillbirth is the source of much concern and anguish to those who have lost babies or have been touched by such events. I would be happy to consider carefully any detailed proposal submitted related to this traumatic issue.
