The Cork Lower Harbour Sewerage Scheme is amongst the schemes included in the recently published Water Services Investment Programme 2010 - 2012, for progression through planning in the period covered by the programme. A copy of the Programme is available in the Oireachtas Library. The most recent estimated cost of the scheme is over â¬70 million. However, its precise scope, phasing and cost will be determined during the planning phase and this cost will be apportioned, in accordance with Water Pricing Policy arrangements, between my Department and Cork County Council.
