I thank the Senator and I appreciate his comment. Like the rest of the Senators I find abortion abhorrent. Like the rest of the Members, I condemn forced abortions in China and wherever else they take place. We are all anti killing and the taking of life, so I would expect, as has been said in the Chamber, that any debate on the subject would be reasonable and rational. Personally, I recognise life as being from conception until natural death and we are all capable of being quite rational when expressing our views on the matter.
