Catherine Murphy: We will be keen to find out what the word "temporarily" means. Animals have been moved from there to another location owned by the same person and there are serious welfare concerns. Understandably, the question has been asked whether the Department is following up and doing welfare checks there.

Catherine Murphy: The fact is that a building remains vacant three and a half years after the HSE purchased it and renovated it. A lot of money was spent. When we talk about value for money, there is an issue here. That is the nub of it. We must deal with it. We must write to the HSE and ask for its plans as a matter of urgency.
