Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2024: Motion to Instruct Committee

I move:

That it be an instruction to the Committee on the Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) (No. 2) Bill 2024 that, pursuant to Standing Order 187, the Committee has power to make amendments to the Bill which are outside the scope of the existing provisions of the Bill in order to make an amendment to the Mental Health Act 2001, in order to increase the length of time a person can serve on a mental health tribunal operated by the Mental Health Commission and to make other consequential amendments required to take account of the changes above.
