Proposed Approval by Dáil Éireann of the Double Taxation Relief (Taxes on Income) (Jersey) Order 2024 and the Double Taxation Relief (Taxes on Income) (Sultanate of Oman) Order 2024: Referral to Select Committee

I move:

That the proposal that Dáil Éireann approves the following Orders in draft:
(i) Double Taxation Relief (Taxes on Income) (Jersey) Order 2024, and

(ii) Double Taxation Relief (Taxes on Income) (Sultanate of Oman) Order 2024,
copies of which were laid before Dáil Éireann on 19th June, 2024, be referred to the Select Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform, and Taoiseach, in accordance with Standing Order 95(1)(a), which, not later than 10th July, 2024, shall send a message to the Dáil in the manner prescribed in Standing Order 101, and Standing Order 100(2) shall accordingly apply.
