To ask the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth if he is aware of the critical shortage of personal assistant hours for people with disabilities in this country in general; the reason a person (details supplied) has been put in a position where their 70-year-old parents are assisting them because they receive no PA support two days a week and only half-day support for two other days; his views on whether his Department is adequately supporting disabled people that require personal assistants; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
