Request to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31.
4:00 pm
Pat Breen (Clare, Fine Gael)
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the continuing bias by Aer Lingus management against Shannon Airport by the reduction of a number of routes to and from the airport and the fact that the station manager will not be replaced when he retires. I ask the Minister to meet representatives of Aer Lingus to ensure Government policy is implemented in a way that has regard to balanced regional development.
