Sustainability is at the heart of the Shannon tourism master plan. We follow the international best practice VICE model, which the Deputy is well aware of, where the visitor, industry, community and environment are placed centrally. Everything we want to achieve for the Shannon and the rest of our waterways is based on sustainability.
