I was really enthused by my interaction with young people in the Clondalkin area regarding mental health. There was a stigma about talking about how one felt when I was growing up around the area, especially among young men. One would be worried about what other people thought. I commend Jigsaw because one of the impacts it has had in north Clondalkin is that it allowed young people to have a place where they could talk about how they were feeling. Not only could they speak in a safe place with Jigsaw, they were also bringing knowledge of this back out into the community and having that peer support and help for each other.
