Decisions on Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control licences are the responsibility of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The monitoring and enforcement associated with licensed activities, including accident prevention and emergency response measures that provide for the protection of the environment, are also a matter for the EPA.
