I agree with the points made by Senator Ellis. Within an hour the general election may be called. The one thing the people need at the time of the general election is honesty, and that honesty will be demonstrated firstly by what the Opposition does at this point and whether it will be true. As Members have said, while the Labour Party in particular has stated that it is in the national interest to see the Bill pass, it is not voting for it. There is a total incoherence in that argument.
